Generic Wealth Management SolutionsMauleverer Money Management Limited started trading on 1st November 1987, having acquired the clients of Michael Harris & Company and Duncan Ramsay & Company, two sole practitioners who had been providing a Financial Planning service for the previous 12 and 10 years respectively.
In March 1988, the company acquired the clients of Priority Portfolio Managers Limited, which had been providing a Financial Planning service to smaller companies and high net worth individuals. Paul Thomas, one of the current directors of Generic Financial Management plc, was director and principal of Priority Portfolio Managers Limited.
Generic Wealth Management Solutions is a trading style of Generic Financial Management plc which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and is bound by its Rules. The Generic Wealth Management Solutions Programme provides investment advice and will arrange and effect transactions, from the whole of the market available to Independent Financial Advisers, in life assurance, pensions, collective investments, individual savings accounts and other readily realisable securities
Generic Wealth Management Solutions is based in Codicote, Hertfordshire and currently operates with a staff of 7. The current directors, Paul Thomas and David Verney as Financial Planners, Pauline Mowbray as Office Manager, Ben Hadley as Investment Research Assistant, Tracey Hutchinson as Administrator, Anna Gawley as Financial Controller and Paraplanner and Pat Bird as Accounts Assistant.
